The Mountain Fold
The very frequently used fold in Origami, the mountain fold is the fold formed when the paper is folded "behind" itself.
In many traditional images of origami, a dash-dot-line is used to represent this fold.
Lets see how to fold this ...
Start with the origami paper of your choice. Now pull one end of the paper up so that the paper is folded behind itself. Once unfolded it looks like a mountain.
When the same is flipped over, it becomes a valley fold. The images can explain the same in a more better way.
